<DAY 1> TOKYO - MT. FUJI - HAKONE - TOKYO 1. TOMEI EXPRESSWAY - FUJI SKY LINE 5TH STATION
Enjoy scenery of rural Japanese driving along to Mt. Fuji. A panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and snowcapped mountains at 8,000 feet. altitude may be enjoyed. (NOTE,right side.) 2. LUNCH (W/O Lunch less ￥2,000) 3. OWAKUDANI BOILING VALLEY
Ancient crater where sulfurous fume reeks and clouds of steam rise from crevasses. Suggest trying black colored shell boiled eggs. 4. HAKONE ROPEWAY - NATIONAL PARK
From 4 km-long ropeway, enjoy a breathtaking view of the volcanic Hakone Mountains and the Valley of Hell ( hot spring) may be enjoyed. 5. BOAT CRUISE ON LAKE ASHI
Cruising across peaceful Lake Ashi, enjoying the picturesque and serene natural beauty of the crater lake.
NOTE:
You will drive up to 4,500 feet from winter to the middle of spring ( due to road closures ) and some weekends when heavy traffic is expected. It may be necessary to change part of the itinerary,(visits and conveyance may be omitted or substituted) depending on weather heavy traffic conditions and/or for operational reasons.
5:00 p.m. Check-in at the Palace Hotel Hakone. Relax with "ONSEN" or hot spring bath at the hotel.
<DAY 2 >HAKONE - TOKYO(Free time in Hakone until departure.) 3:20 p.m. - Leave Palace Hotel Hakone for Odawara Station.
4:46 p.m. - Leave Odawara for Tokyo By Bullet Train.
5:23 p.m. - The tour disbands upon arrival at Tokyo Station.
