ITINERARY
<DAY 1> TOKYO - MT. FUJI - HAKONE - KYOTO 1. TOMEI EXPRESSWAY - FUJI SKY LINE-5TH STATION
Enjoy a panoramic view from 8,000 ft. 2. LUNCH AT A RESTAURANT
3. OWAKUDANI BOILING VALLEY
4. HAKONE ROPEWAY - NATIONAL PARK
5. BOAT CRUISE ON LAKE ASHI
6:38 p.m. - Leave Odawara for Kyoto by Bullet Train.
9:56 p.m. - Arrive in Kyoto. Check-in at the Hotel New Hankyu Kyoto.
<DAY 2 >KYOTO - NARA - TOKYO 8:35 a.m. - Sightseeing in Kyoto by coach, visiting Nijo Castle(when closed, visit Ryoanji Temple instead), Golden Pavilion and Old Imperial Palace. (On Sat., Sun., national holidays and some other days, visit Kitano Tenmangu instead. On Fed. 25, Mar. 25, Aug. 25 and Nov. 25, visit Ryoanji Temple instead.)
1:10 p.m. - Excursion to Nara by motorcoach driving throuth the countryside. Visit Todaiji Temple, Kasuga Shrine and the Deer Park.
<DAY 3 >KYOTO - TOKYO Morning Free
2:00 p.m. - Proceed to Kyoto Station.
2:37 p.m. - Leave Kyoto for Tokyo by Bullet Train. 5:10 p.m. - The tour disbands upon arrival at Tokyo Station.
*You will drive up to 4,500 feet from winter to middle of spring owing to closing out of the drive-way to the 5th station and some weekends when heavy traffic is expected. It may be necessary to change part of the itinerary, depending on weather and/or heavy traffic conditions.
* JR or subway train may be used for pick-up services depending on heavy traffic conditions.
* The train schedules are subject to change.
* Due to limited capacity for baggage on Bullet Train and unavailability of porters at stations, please carry an overnight bag for the stay in Kyoto.
