Types and Prices
There are two types of JAPAN RAIL PASS: Green (for superior-class Green cars), and Ordinary. Each of these types is available as a 7-day, 14-day, or 21-day PASS. See "JAPAN RAIL PASS validity", for services that can be used with a JAPAN RAIL PASS.

The PASS prices for children apply from age 6 to and including age 11. Prices are subject to change. The applicable price is the price valid on the date when an Exchange Order is issued.

Buy Japan Rail Pass Online
You need to purchase an Exchange Order only before you go to Japan. After you arrive in Japan, you will receive JAPAN RAIL PASS on presentaion of your Exchange order and your passport. At the time of the exchange you will be asked to fill a short application form and to show your passport with the Temporary Visitor stamp that you received on entry into Japan. Your Exchange order must be turned in for a JAPAN RAIL PASS within three months of the date of the Order was issued.

We can accept all major credit and debit cards over the phone or e-mail. I'm afraid that payment by credit cards will incur a 2% or 3% surcharge. We can send an Exchange order by Royal Mail special delivery with the cost of ｣4.90 (UK Only). Alternatively, you can collect it from our office without extra postal fee.
